Abstract

The purpose of this article is to analyze the identification phenomenon in the human self notion, behavior and adaptation to the environment. In contrast to the relatively «narrowly-special» identification term used in the traditional scientific disciplines, this article imparts a global significance to the stated phenomenon and to the role in the individual and social-economic development study. This paper shows that an individual and communities are capable to manage their identifications and by choosing the best ones receive the opportunity for the further development. Grounding on the key «effective identification» concept in the biological, historical, economic and sociologic processes analysis the relation between the identification and the social-economic individual and community development is revealed. Thus, this article formulates the concept of the scientific discipline, named by the author the «Identifilogy».
