Abstract

The article views the reasons of weak development of mediamanagement in Russian regions. Conclusion is made that regional mass media in Russian Federation subconsciously reproduce the model of Soviet journalism instead of building new working relations. In professional sphere the term media project is misunderstood, as well as specific character of mediaproject activity. Therefore, any mediaproject becomes extreme and mediaproject group management turns to be spontaneous and unproductive. On the basis of western project management elaborations and author's own experience, it is suggested to estimate the possibilities of managing the groups of mass media specialists in Russian regions.
