XX в

Abstract

The article studies the tragic consequences of Stalin’s repressive policy “The great terror" in the Chechen-In-gush ASSR. In 1937-1938 the Chechen-Ingush leaders of party and Soviet authorities, famous workers of culture and science, engineers and technicians were persecuted by the Stalin''s totalitarian regime. Thus, a majority of the political elite and national intelligence, the heads of large industrial enterprises were annihilated. Many prominent Muslim leaders and prosperous peasants shared the same fate. These pages of the Soviet Chechen-Ingush Republic history have been still poorly studied.
