Abstract

The article describes the analysis of speech acts of warning from the point of view of the notions «implicature», «presupposition» and «entailment». The implicature is understood as implicit information which the hearer of the particular statement can reasonably infer. The term «presupposition» is interpreted from points of view of logic, philosophy and linguistics, in the last one as the propositions considering the speaker taken for granted as part of the contextual background. Entailment is the proposition inferred on the basis of logical laws.
