Abstract

This paper presents an analysis of the influence of information and telecommunications sector's development on economic growth and increasing international competitiveness. An assessment is made of the level of development of information and telecommunications sector in developed countries and in the CIS. The effect of this development on the implementation of international integration and competitiveness of the post-Soviet region is studied. Top priority tasks in the development of the ICT sector in the system integration of the CIS are identified.

Анализируется влияние развития информационно-телекоммуникационного сектора на экономический рост и повышение международной конкурентоспособности. Даётся оценка уровня развития информационно-телекоммуникационного сектора в развитых странах и регионе СНГ. Исследуется влияние этого развития на реализацию международной интеграции и повышение конкурентоспособности постсоветского региона. Выделены первоочередные задачи, стоящие на пути развития ИКТ-сектора в системе интеграции СНГ.
