Abstract

It was established that stress-resistance has a multicomponent structure and includes intensity of excitation of nervous processes, organizational stress, statetrait anxiety, self-esteem, strategies of coping with stress situations, and susceptibility to alcohol addiction. A method of measuring the level of stress-resistance of police officers is suggested, allowing us to improve the quality of psychological assistance and prevent maladjustment.
