Abstract

The primary theses of the Middle Ages Christian philosophy are considered in this paper. The author points out that the foundation of the primary features of the modern mentality, ideas of new civilization, religion and morality were formed in this period. The author notes that the Western philosophical and spiritual spirits, formed in the 12 th and 13 th centuries, led to implementation of the sense of individualism, values and dignity of the single person into the consciousness of the person of western mentality.
