The working conditions at the modern productions of viniylchloride and polyvinylchloride have been studied. A chemical factor was found to be a principal unfavourable factor at the productions above. The assessment of air pollution in the working zone with chemical harmful substances has been given in the retrospective during 11 years. At present, despite the significant improvement of hygienic state based on the chemical factor, the working conditions for the employees were yet found to relate to the category of harmful ones to which the unfavorable microclimatic conditions and the intensive noise are known to contribute.
