The article is devoted to the language interpretation of the category "benefit" one of the major categories of the world picture. Object-predicative phrases such as "to benefit from" served as the material for the research. The author develops the idea of conceptualizing abstract terms as objects and phenomena of the material world.

Статья посвящена языковой интерпретации категории пользы одной из важнейших категорий картины миры. На материале предикатно-объектных словосочетаний типа «извлечь пользу» автор развивает идею о концептуализации абстрактных понятий как предметов и явлений материального мира.
