Abstract

The effect of adding the Nabikat and Probitox adsorbing feed supplements into the diets of experimental and control gestating and suckling sows, in the doses of 2.0 kg/t and 1.0 kg/t of mixed feed, respectively, has been studied. The best results were obtained with the use of Nabikat preparation in the dose of 2.0 kg/t of mixed feed, which enhanced the effectiveness of insemination of the experimental and control sows by 4.8 and 9.6%, prolificacy by 8.9 and 9.1%, and vitality of piglets of the sucking period by 0.7 and 2.0 %, respectively. The feed consumption per one piglet of weaning age was reduced by 3.5-7.6%. The feed supplements under study had no effect on the live weight gain of piglets during the suckling period.
