Abstract

The author analyzes the relationship and interdependence of national sovereignty and the Information Society. The relevance of the work due to the fact that the development of the information society became one of the landmarks of the socio-economic development of the Russian Federation. At the same time, the development of the information society leads to complex risks associated with information security of the state. The lack of «information sovereignty» in today's world can lead to the loss of the State sovereignty in general. Based on the analysis of measures to ensure «information sovereignty» the author demonstrates interdependence of the sovereignty and the Information Society. Herewith the revealed relations to the national and global information society are different from each other.
