Abstract

The paper deals with the structure of mathematical competence of future civil engineers. The author reveals the following structural components: axiological, epistemological, praxiological, reflexive and volitional. The author carries out an analysis and reveals the essence of each structural component. The practical value of the mathematical competence for development of engineering thinking is defined. The study discusses the mathematical skills the future civil engineer should have for efficient execution of vocational activities.
