Abstract

The purpose of the study was to assess the effectiveness of the methods audo-visual stimulation (AVS) and transcranial electrical stimulation of the brain (TPS) in patients with a history of preterm birth, or the presence of stillbirths due to intense stress during pregnancy. The study involved 56 women with gestation of 12 to 20 weeks in age from 23 to 37 years old with a history of premature birth or stillbirth, and attributes this to the strong emotional stress, migrated during pregnancy. Psychophysiological examination conducted the study and control groups. The main group of patients was performed 10 sessions ABC. In the event of a threat of premature birth the same group, in addition to conventional treatment a course of TPP. Proved that the use of ABC by 12-20 weeks of pregnancy reduces the number of patients hospitalized in the later stages of pregnancy to hospital with threatened preterm birth by 21%. The results of the rate of TPP patients who were hospitalized with the threat of premature birth of a core group suggests corrective effect of vegetative effects.
