The issue of perception of Lermontov’s works and their translation in Turkic literature of the XIX-XX centuries in Russia is under study in this article. Here are revealed some distinctions in the perception of Pushkin’s and Lermontov’s literary works by Turkic people of Russia. It is those structural features of Lermontov’s artistic thought verging on the peculiarities of the Eastern man’s psychology that are studied in the article in the light of the Eastern and Western dialogue problems. Lermontov’s literary works constitute the basis of the article, which have become a subject of reception and interpretation in Turkic literature ( Ashik Kerib, A Hero of Our Time, The Prayer, etc.). Genre transformations of Lermontov’s poem No, I'm Not Byron and it’s translated variant in Tatar (made by Sagit Ramiev at the beginning of XX century) are detected as well.

В представленной работе ставится проблема восприятия и переводов произведений Лермонтова в тюркоязычных литературах России в XIX-XX вв. Выясняются некоторые различия между восприятием произведений Пушкина и Лермонтова в тюркоязычном художественном сознании. Через призму проблемы диалога Востока и Запада в творчестве Лермонтова рассматриваются те черты в структуре художественного мышления поэта, которые граничат с особенностями психологии восточного человека. Фактическую основу работы составляют произведения Лермонтова, ставшие в разных тюркоязычных литературах предметом рецепции и множественных переводов («Ашик-Кериб», «Герой нашего времени», «Молитва» и др.), а также анализируются жанровые трансформации, возникшие при переводе на татарский язык стихотворения Лермонтова «Нет, я не Байрон…», выполненном в начале XX века Сагитом Рамиевым.
