Abstract

This paper is a biomechanical study of the influence of elasticity modulus of spongy and cortical bone on stress state near planar implant with porous inserts. Mathematical model of stress state is a contact problem for the implant and the body of the jaw and is built in the limits of elasticity theory. Boundary conditions of contact of deformable bodies are stated with the aid of penalty functions. Finite element method is used to get approximate numerical solution for stress in bone tissue under occlusal load on implant. This model helps to analyze the influence of elasticity modulus of the jaw bone on stress state around planar implant.
