Influence of low-dose repetitively-pulsed X-ray (RPX-ray) with nanosecond pulse duration on Lewis lung carcinoma in vitro and in vivo was studied. Cytostatic and antimetostatic effects of RPX-ray were found to depend on pulse repetition frequency and dose per pulse. Inhibition of Lewis lung carcinoma in vitro achieved 30-60 %. Two-time irradiation of tumor-bearing mice with the total dose below 0,06 Gy inhibited tumor growth only for 10-20 %. The maximum 16 % of antimetastatic effect after RPX-ray was observed.
