Abstract

The article deals with manifestations of modernism in Tatar poetry of the early twentieth century and in Korean poetry of 1920-30-ies. Observations lead to the conclusion that in that period the symptoms of modernist art start to develop based on the romanticism. It is proved that the work of Hong Sa Yong pictures the world, which is typologically similar to the non-classical view of the world in Tatar poetry of the early twentieth century.
