Abstract

The article discusses the peculiarities of adapting foreign borrowings to the system of the Russian language by the emigrant writer V. Aksyonov and the ways of building new words on the basis of foreign borrowings in his literary texts. It offers the analysis of the structures of the newly formed words as well as the analysis of their word usage and role in the text. The choice of words in the texts by V. Aksyonov is analyzed as a means of conveying the author’s ideas, creating additional connotations and making possible influence on a reader.
