Abstract

The article reviews the subject of water in I.A. Bunin books as a reflection of the writer's interest to oriental culture, Buddhism and Hinduism. Fiction works are analysed in the context of the belletristic literature in XIX-XX centuries and in the Eastern philosophical and religious conceptions.
