Abstract

The article is devoted to the development of Soviet-American connections in the cultural area just before, during and after the World War II. This period can be characterized like train of up and down. US-Soviet relations during this period, including cultural, were under pressure of a great number of different aspects. That's why their development was not very intensive, but it was and this is the most important moment.
