Abstract

The article is devoted to religious studies’ potential of existential phenomenology as viewed by modern philosophy of cognition. The author addresses Russian religious philosophy, namely Ilyin’s philosophy of religion, and analyzes some peculiarities of integrative strategies and cognitive practices that refer to religious experience as an ultimate experience which combines predicative and ante-predicative spheres of reasoning, an act of faith, practical goals and values.
