Функции временных детерминантов будущего в современном английском языке

Abstract

The article is devoted to the research of temporal determinants of the future tense in Modern English which are analyzed as the means of expression of the future tense in the texts of English prose. The author highlights its basic features and comes to the conclusion that the semantics plays the main role in using the determinants of future in the text, due to the main meaning of the words included in the determinants. Moreover temporal determinants of future perform two main functions: a temporal organization of the text and inline linking of the units within the whole text.
