The concept FOOL (DURAK) is one of the most paradoxical, unique and multilevel concepts of Russian language culture. The simulated frame-slot structure of the concept FOOL from the point of view of its verbalization based on different types of cognition (everyday, mythological and scientific) is presented in the paper. The core component of the concept the ubnormal (something that does not fit the norm) is identified. Such feature as ambivalence characteristic of everyday and mythological types of cognition is demonstrated.
