Abstract

The article presents the results of the empirical research «Political Petersburg-2010». The author emphasizes the low level of St. Petersburg population support to the political parties, the decreasing number of people with "patron-client" consciousness, a lack of stability between demand for the certain types of political values and the level of support to the parties with a corresponding ideological orientation. Moreover the author analyzes the phenomena of population being unready to participate in mass protest actions, the splitting of the political believes between different generations, St. Petersburg population propensity to decide social and political problems not by the means of the public actions but by the means of so-called informal measures which are directly connected with the corruption actions.
