The article examines the theme of deportation of the kalmyk people in the period of Stalin’s repressions on the example of the image of the last Kalmyk woman in O. Volkov’s story «Being plunged into darkness». This nameless woman became a symbol of the tragic fate of the exiled people who was separated from its ancestral homeland.
В статье исследуется тема депортации калмыцкого народа в период сталинских репрессий на примере образа «последней» калмычки из повести О. Волкова «Погружение во тьму». Эта безымянная женщина стала символом трагической участи ссыльного народа, разлученного с родиной предков.
