Abstract

The method of solid-phase polycondensation for improvement of properties of secondary polyethyleneterephthalate is used. Thermal impact on secondary polyethyleneterephthalate carried out in deep vacuum at different temperatures and time. It is revealed that thermal impact on secondary polyethyleneterephthalate leads to change of molecular weight of polymer towards increase. Change of molecular weight is confirmed by results of spectral and rheological researches. It is noted that in IR-spectrums of secondary polyethyleneterephthalate intensity of strips the absorption corresponding to trailer carboxyl groups, become considerably smaller. In turn growth of a chain of a macromolecule (molecular weight) affects on viscosity of fusion of polymer towards its growth. It should be noted that an optimum condition of carrying out solid-phase polycondensation is, heat treatment secondary polyethelenterephtalate at ° C t=140 during 4 h.
