
The article is devoted to analysis of prototypical and non-prototypical situations of «fear» and constructions that are used for their categorization in the German and English languages. As a result of contrastive analysis of the sententional fields, certain entities have been picked out that either distinguish or bring these languages closer to each other.
В статье рассматриваются особенности прототипических и непрототипических ситуаций «страх» и категоризующих их конструкций в немецком и английском языках. В результате контрастивного анализа этих сентенциональных полей были выделены параметры, по которым исследуемые языки сближаются или расходятся.
