
In the article sport is analyzed as a specific socio-cultural phenomenon in the context of the modern information society. Against the background of general problems of playing nature of culture the author tries to show sport as a specific socio-cultural phenomenon and its transformation in the new realities of mass media society. In particular, sport is introduced as a special type of playing activity not only in the course of entertainment and recreation, but also from the standpoint of its developing character in the connection with the person harmonious development.
В статье анализируется спорт как специфическое социально-культурное явление в контексте современного информационного общества. На фоне общей проблематики игровой природы культуры автор пытается показать спорт как специфическое социально-культурное явление и его трансформацию в новых реалиях массмедийного общества. В частности, спорт представляется как особый тип игровой деятельности не только в ракурсе развлечения и отдыха, но и с точки зрения ее развивающего характера во взаимосвязи с гармоничным развитием личности.
