Abstract

This paper presents a theoretical analysis of the problem of studying the social and psychological preconditions for individual susceptibility to verbalinfluence. Among the most important conditions for the high susceptibility of the individual exposed to an information release: interest in the subject, lack of reliable information, anxiety, uncertainty, social attitudes, frustration, need for security, recognition, prestige, etc. Today, when the individual is increasingly faced with the onslaught of chaoticavalanche of information, there is urgent need for an empirical study of the socio-psychological factors and mechanisms of resistance to various kinds of verbal influence.
