Abstract

The results of studies on the changeability of certain seeds with different colors, as dependent on their geographical origin and selection category, are submitted. It is found that regardless of geographical area and selection category in all the samples of Scotch pine seeds the black color seeds were dominating. The correlation of the amount of seeds of other floral-seed forms varies with the geographical zone and depending on the source of seeds. As result of two-factor dispersive analyzes it was found that the variability of seeds coloring in the samples under study was certainly influenced only by the geographical origin. There were not observed any proved differences between normal and improved seeds from one and the same geographical region.
