Abstract

The article says that sovereignty of an individual can be understood as the ability of an independent interaction with culture (objective and social world). The empirical research gives an opportunity to speak about the differences in the manifestation of an individual openness of “sovereign” and “deprived” respondents. The research has revealed the differences between “sovereign” and “deprived” young girls and boys in the intensity of the author's subjective attitude to life, awareness of an individual as an agent.
