Abstract

The author of the article for the first time suggests the division of the process of Shadrinsk periodicals and newspapers’ development into the stages, which include pre-Soviet (1913–1919), Soviet (1919–1988), the post-Soviet (1988–present). Special attention is drawn to the Soviet period, as it is the longest and can be further subdivided into smaller stages of development.
