Abstract

The influence of the body-weight index, acute phase reactants, lipid metabolism and the thickness of the common carotid artery intima-media on the development of atherosclerotic vascular lesions is analyzed and presented. The comparison of these factors in patients with combined and discrete lesion of cerebral and coronary vessels is carried out.
