Abstract

The author investigates lexical intenseness of verbal grammar forms in the Hagiography of St. Irina the Great Martyr and the Hagiography of St. Theodosius Pechersky on the basis of the multiaspectual approach to linguistic units analysis. The author considers similarities and differences of hagiographical texts by the synodal redaction in verbs functioning in direct and figurative meanings, deterministic by content-composite structure of hagiographical text.
