Abstract

The article deals with the definition of a new phenomenon -applied art history. The necessity of the introduction of this additional term in art science is explained, functions and tasks of this trend are described; its role and place in modern world are defined, the perspectives of development and improvement are identified. Main types of applied study of art are enumerated; examples of their practical application are given.

В статье рассматривается определение новому явлению прикладному искусствоведению. Объяснена необходимость введения этого дополнительного термина в искусствоведческой науке, описаны функции и задачи этого направления, определены его роль и место в современном мире, обозначены перспективы развития и совершенствования. Перечислены основные виды прикладного искусствоведения, приведены примеры практического их применения.
