Abstract

To be a “producingforce” is not only role of a science. It has a capability to appreciate the “humane deals” from such main criterion as civilizationaland existential senses, social equity etc. But up-today human and socialsciences have two dangerous symptoms technocentrism and postmodernism.Technocentrism means absurd “triumph of the means over aims”, the postmodernismexchanges the classic notion of a “normality” and “naturarerum” for a epistemological and ontological relativism suggested by “post-science”. The important warnings had been made by many representatives of Russian social thought before 1917 year such as B. Chicherin (1828-1904), I. Pokrovski (1868-1920) and so on.
