Abstract

The article examines the system of Gothic tradition’s elements in the fantastic adventurous historical novel by American writer Robert Matheson “Somewhere in Time”. The author makes a conclusion that common features create an image of the border of the world.

Анализируется система элементов «готической» традиции в фантастическом авантюрно-историческом романе американского писателя Р. Матесона «Где-то во времени». Делается вывод об их общей функции создании пограничного образа мира.
