This article addresses the issues of providing a unified economic space in Russia and analyses the provisions of the current Constitution of the Russian Federation as of 1993 in terms of the economic problems of federalism. It demonstrates the effect of the economic development differences in the Russian regions on the state structure, economic structure and efficiency, and the legal status of citizens. It also defines basic directions for the improvement of the economic foundations of the Russian federalism.

В статье анализируется содержание принципов равенства перед законом и судом в правовом государстве, рассматриваются причины и условия, необходимые для реализации указанных принципов, исследуется механизм взаимодействия принципов равенства перед законом и судом с другими конституционными принципами, а также меры по совершенствованию юридических гарантий в этой сфере.
