Abstract

Historical quarter in borders of Gorkogo Bograda Dekabristov Karla Marksa Streets includes mostly two-storey wooden buildings and has a status of a well remained Krasnoyarsk example of Siberian town planning of the end of the XIXth the beginning of the XXth centuries. Nowadays planning materials have prepared by experts for the quarter’s reconstruction. The scheme of the territory planning with preservation of old estates has been proposed and architectural objects for preserving or demolishing have been determined. The major problem is to find a new and suitable functional saturation for the Historical Quarter which will promote effective preservation of the monuments and their rational modern use.
