Abstract

В статье анализируются контекстуальные трансформации и специфика иллокутивного эффекта русских и английских фразеологизмов с общим значением «обман». Делается попытка выявления закономерностей восприятия и оценки феномена обмана носителями русской и английской лингвокультур.The article focuses on discourse transformations and pragmatic impact of Russian and English idioms with a general meaning of deception. Typical attitudes of Russian and English native speakers towards deception are revealed.
