By generalizing level models of the structure of a person's value and meaning sphere, the criteria of the meaning context scale was suggested and proved to be the basic criteria for determining fundamentally specific levels of a person's life space, together creating its contextual-level model. The model's central level is made up by the life space of a person as a systemic unity; a metasystemic level is formed by the space of co-existing communities, in relation to which a person defines the meaning of his or her life; the subsystems of different levels are composed by the space of life spheres, the space of communication and activity, and the notional field of action.

На основании обобщения уровневых моделей строения ценностно-смысловой сферы личности обосновывается критерий масштаба смыслового контекста при определении качественно специфичных уровней организации жизненного пространства личности, в совокупности образующих его контекстуально-уровневую модель. Центральный уровень модели составляет пространство жизни человека как системная целостность; метасистемный уровень образован пространством со-бытийных общностей, в соотношении с которыми человек определяет смысл жизни; в качестве подсистем разного уровня выступают пространство сфер жизни, пространство деятельности и общения, пространство действия.
