90 subjects were examined by the method of ultrasound transcranial dopplerography, including the groups of sportsmen, running for long distances, gymnasts, as well as normal subjects, not going in for sport, and patients with hemipareses after the insult got over. While testing with breath holding the monitoring of the circulation rate in the brain medial artery. It has been established that the circulation rate increase in sportsmen begins not instantly, but 20 sec. after the testing start and occurs with lesser rate than in patients. The high tempo of circulation rate increase is an indicator of the inadequate reserve potentials of the system of oxygen transport and utilization while performing the functional hypoxic test.
