The article attempts to study family issues in the artistic culture of the Renaissance. The urgency of this appeal to the cultural and historical period justified the current state of family relations in society, when the problem is the presence of children in the family, the relationship between the sexes becomes the most bizarre shape. The author considers the family is not so much as a "cell of society", as well as a special form of the ontological, in which famous artists, humanists of the Renaissance saw a source of stability, self-actualization, "focus on the future" and that embodied familistic ideas in his work.
