Corporate involvement into local community social programs is extremely dissimilar across different regions. It is highly dependent on the model of interactions between the government, business sector and society which dominates in the region, as well as on the social interests of businesses themselves. The author analyzes companies which are situated in North Caucasian Federal District. She surveyed various company representatives, from the ranking list of Largest Companies of the South of Russia. This research helps to determine the reasons for low level of dialogue between government, business and society in the region. The author proposes appropriate measures to intensify corporate involvement into development of North Caucasian Federal District, such as inter-sector dialogue and various types of partnerships, taking into account social and cultural peculiarities of the region.
