Abstract

We have investigated the influence of N-nitro-L arginine (LNNA) blocker of inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) in the admixture with non -steroid anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) on barium sulphate stimulated luminol-depended chemiluminescence (SLCL) in blood of patients with asthmatic triad (AT). It was established that LNNA noticeably remove NSAIDs -induced inhibition of SLCL in blood of patients with AT (high concentrations of LNNA yielded the best effects). iNOS activity of blood phagocytes was detected by registration of synthesized nitric levels. All the patients with AT had high nitric level compared to healthy donors. We have detected the dependence between SLCL levels and iNOS activity levels of blood phagocytes among patients with AT. Among patients with intolerance to NSAIDs, we detected no dependence between inhibition of SLCL by NSAIDs and iNOS activity levels of blood phagocytes.
