Abstract

Рассматриваются вопросы организации работ по поиску месторождений алмазов в Западной Якутии в конце 40-х начале 50-х гг. прошлого века различными геологическими экспедициями и организациями, технология и методика поисков, проблемы и трудности при проведении данных исследований, основные открытия, увенчавшиеся в конечном итоге выявлением богатейшей Якутской алмазоносной провинции.

The article covers the problems of diamond deposits reconnaissance in the Western Yakutia in late forties, early fifties of the last century by different geological expeditions and organizations/ The author describes technologies and methods of searching, difficulties in these researches, main discoveries resulting in the discovery of the richest Yakut diamond province.
