Abstract

The scientific article is devoted to defining specific characteristics of international derivational elements in German, Austrian and Swiss usage. The author describes not only the main problems connected with spreading of international derivational morphemes but also with studying assimilation processes of international morphemes in national variants of German language. The author combines these two actual aspects and compares German, Austrian and Swiss international derivational elements in pairs, noticing the main differences between them.
