Recent analyses have proved that the phraseological units of the Russian language are the most abundant source for replenishment and renewal of the vocabulary. Neologisms derived from phrasemes are generally realized at the level of speech. Innovations appear as occasionalisms and only a few of them get a customary sense of the word later on. New lexicological units are viewed by the linguists in different aspects, but this phenomenon has not been recognized by the system and demands complex consideration and valid lexicography working out.

Исследования последних лет показали, что фразеологизмы русского языка – весьма благодатный источник для пополнения и обновления лексического фонда. Отфраземная неологизация осуществляется в основном на уровне речи. Инновации появляются как окказионализмы, и только немногие из них впоследствии приобретают статус узуальных лексем. Новые единицы рассматриваются лингвистами в различных аспектах, но явление это до сих пор не признано системой и требует комплексного рассмотрения и основательной лексикографической разработки.
