Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of the politician’s electoral rating and various methodological foundations of the research practices are considered in it. Today a lot of various rating studies are applied in political science and political practice. They are based on different methodologies and use different methods and techniques. Some of them are aimed at technological affect on the public opinion and they are developed to improve electoral ratings of some acting politicians. Most of the rating studies use expert surveys of «reputation assessment», supplemented with quantitative or qualitative analysis of mass media reports. In conclusion the authors propose their own model of study the regional rating of political actors. They have submitted the version of the development of the research program, aimed at questionnaires methods and examination of documents.
