Abstract

The data on social, demographic and behavioral characteristics of teenagers who live on streets constantly or time to time is presented in this paper. This data was collected as a part of international research conducted in 2006 in St.Petersburg in collaboration with international organization "HealthRight International" (former "Doctors of the World USA") and Center on Disease Control (USA). Individual interviews conducted with 313 teenagers allowed to identify the specific social, demographic and psychological determinants and risk factors of homelessness development in kids.
